KN 32/35 (multimedia standards)

1. New Regulation for ITE, AV Equipments

  •  Purpose - New standards for electromagnetic compatibility related multimedia devices is established 
  • From 1 Jan, 2016, KN 22/24(ITE) and KN 13/20(AVE) are changed to KN 32/35(MME)
2. What is changed?
  • There are slightly differences to test method and this method is validated in more detail than the previous standards.
     - MME EMC standard test signals and power into the port which electromagnetic waves are input and output.
It means the test method are based on the capabilities and functionality of the device.
      - Analog signals (AV, tuner port, etc.) is considered to be a signal line.
      - RS test 
         previous : 80MHz ~ 1GHz 
         KN32/35 : Adding Spot frequencies(1800MHz, 2600MHz, 3500MHz, 5000MHz).Including international standards (800MHz, 900MHz)
      - Add sound pressure test for speaker equipments
